KAMLOOPS - A report of a man carrying a handgun into a motel room at the Columbia Motor Inn is being investigated by the RCMP.
Police received the report of the incident at about 1:20 p.m. A witness said three people approached a motel room door, with one man carrying what appeared to be a handgun. The three were then seen leaving the motel room and climbing into a dark coloured, four-door car. Police were told the suspects travelled east on Greenstone Drive.
Mounties went to the hotel room and spoke with the occupants who were uncooperative.
Nobody was injured during the incident and the RCMP is trying to identify the people involved.
