Police are investigating the disappearance of an Alberta woman who may have ties to Kelowna.

Drayton Valley RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating 34-year-old Ashley Collin who is also known by Ashley Fricke.

Ashley went missing from a residence west of Drayton Valley between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., June 16, according to an RCMP press release.

Police say she talked about moving to Camrose or B.C. and RCMP believe she may be in the Kelowna area.

"Ash if you are seeing this, please come home baby sister," her sister Michelle said in a message passed along by RCMP. "You don't have to stay away, we love you, and we need to know you are okay. Ash, please call home, everything will be OK if you just come home."

RCMP describe Collin as 5'4" tall, 160 lbs., with medium length brown hair, brown eyes, a tattoo on her left forearm of a child's drawing and an unknown tattoo on her right arm. She has a diamond nose piercing and a right eyebrow piercing.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact Drayton Valley RCMP at 780-542-4456, or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
