KELOWNA - A 64-year old man is facing charges after he was caught allegedly performing an indecent act while parked at a Lake Country waterpark late yesterday afternoon.
RCMP say officers were called to Swalwell Park on Bottom Wood Lake Road in Lake Country around 4 p.m. after reports of a fight in the parking lot.
Apparently the suspect was spotted videotaping himself and was confronted by a man who punched him in the face, according to a post on Facebook.
"The man (in the vehicle) was apprehended and turned over to police," Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey says in a media release.
The 64-year-old Central Okanagan man has since been released from custody on strict conditions and will appear in court at a later date. RCMP don't say what charges he faces.
O'Donaghey says RCMP are invesigating the incident and would like to speak to anyone who witnesses what happened.
RCMP haven't said if the person who allegedly punched the suspect will be facing any charges.
