PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP are investigating the daylight theft of a quad and jet ski trailer last week.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says a 2008 Polaris Sportsman “2-up” and a trailer designed for two jet skis was taken from a Lakehill Road residence in Kaleden last Thursday, July 27.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, approximately 5' 9" tall with curly dark hair was seen driving the quad down the road around 5:20 p.m.
A second witness was almost hit by a quad towing a boat trailer around 5:30 p.m.
The jet ski trailer was recovered on Oak Avenue a short time later.
Police are looking at video evidence as the matter continues under investigation.
