KAMLOOPS - A preliminary inquiry has begun for a man charged with murder in connection to a homicide at a Valleyview motel earlier this year.
Gordon Paul Camille, 65, was arrested on Feb. 5 and charged with the murder of Dennis Adolph, 49.
The pre-trial hearing began this week in Kamloops Provincial Court, according to court documents. The details of the hearing cannot be published due to a court ordered publication ban.
Police were called to the 4 Seasons Motel on Trans Canada East Frontage Road on Jan. 26, where they responded to the death of Adolph. The B.C. Coroners Service later confirmed the death was a homicide.
A date for trial is expected to be scheduled after the preliminary inquiry wraps up.
