POLL: Should pit bull breeds be banned in B.C.?

After the tragic death of a man in Kamloops this week, we have to ask if it's time to ban pit bulls.

You've likely considered this question before, perhaps the last time someone was killed or seriously maimed by a pit bull.

Thankfully, it doesn't happen often, at least in B.C., but the breed has been on the radar for a long time because when they go bad, they're potentially lethal or catastrophic. There seems to be as many organized groups trying to ban pit bull breeds as there are groups who support and defend the breeds. They'll tell you it's not the breed, it's how the dog was raised or somehow the owner's fault.

But those arguments about the hows and whys don't change the damage caused when they do go bad.

We're curious where you stand on this issue? Has the most recent tragedy changed your view?
