KELOWNA - After an injured man wandered into traffic yesterday morning in Kelowna, RCMP are looking for two suspects believed to be connected with the incident.

On Nov. 20 at around 9 a.m., RCMP responded to a call of a man with blood covering his face and hands wandering into traffic at the 800 block of Leathead Road.

Police learned that two unknown suspects had restrained the man in his residence and assaulted him. A second resident interrupted the assault, but he was also restrained and attacked. The suspects fled the scene with undisclosed items.

“Police do not believe at this time that the incident was random in nature,” said RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey in a press release.

One victim, a Kelowna man in his 50s, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second victim, a man in his 40s, was assessed and released by paramedics at the scene.

Police are looking for leads on the two suspects. They were seen wearing dark-coloured cargo pants and tactical boots.

Anyone with information can contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
