ARMSTRONG - Police continue to to search for a missing Armstrong resident and now they're asking the public to help locate his vehicle.

According to an RCMP release, Brian Kyme Franklin went missing on Jan. 3 and has not contacted friends or family, which is described as out of character for him.

Police have released information on a truck Franklin is believed to be driving.

It's a red 2005 Toyota Tundra with B.C. licence plate MC2169.

There are Safety 1st logos on the driver and passenger sides, and graphics depicting LEGO builders and construction equipment wrap around the vehicle. A white Truck #19 graphic is on the rear window behind the driver's seat.

The vehicle was last seen on Jan. 5.

Police said Franklin has family in Prince George and Victoria.

Anyone with information on the truck or the missing person is asked to contact the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-546-3028, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The pictured truck resembles the missing vehicle, although the missing truck is red and doesn't have an amber light bar.
