KAMLOOPS - Officers are asking the public to submit any information which could help their search for Hayley Haines, 17, who was last seen on August 4.

The First Nations teenager is described as 5' 4", 110 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are very concerned as the teen has left for periods before, but it is unusual for her to not have any contact with friends or family.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Haines is asked to call the local Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
