An old leather briefcase found abandoned in Kelowna has RCMP reaching out to the public.
Police say the briefcase was found in the Rutland neighbourhood and it appears to have been abandoned. RCMP do not say exactly where the briefcase was found.
“The contents of the briefcase appear to be sentimental in nature, and we believe someone must be missing them,” Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in a media release.
“Several items have the name David Hammond on them but, so far, we have not been able to locate anyone by that name.”
RCMP would like to get the briefcase and its contents to its rightful owner.
If it’s your briefcase, or you know whose it is, call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-752-3300.
