KELOWNA - Police need help identifying a suspected robber who was caught on a surveillance camera yesterday shortly before a heist at the Bank of Montreal in the Capri Mall.

The lone male suspect entered the Harvey Avenue mall at 3:35 p.m. armed with a knife, according to an RCMP media release. He then secured the doors wth a plastic tie before jumping over the counter and confronting staff. As he was leaving, he used the knife to cut the tie and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his late twenties, 6' to 6'2" tall with a slim build.

Anyone with information can contact the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-22-8477.
