Penticton store employee robbed by suspect with skull mask, shotgun

RCMP in Penticton have released an image of a suspect in an armed robbery from over a week ago in the hope it will advance the investigation.

Officers were called to an armed robbery at a retail store in the 200 block of Riverside Drive in Penticton at around 8:30 p.m., Sept. 12, according to an RCMP media release.

The suspect was armed with a shotgun and threatened an employee.

He got away with cash and merchandise, and took off on foot west on Riverside Drive.

RCMP described the suspect as a Caucasian male, 20 to 40 years old, 5’9” tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a red T-shirt with a black long sleeve undershirt, black pants, a black hat and a skull mask. He was carrying a blue bag.

Anyone who is able to identify the suspect, or has information about the robbery and has not yet spoken with police, can contact Const. Creasey of the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
