Penticton stop on Megadeth world tour

PENTICTON - Thrash metal band Megadeth will be in Penticton this spring as part of the North American leg of its world tour.

The concert at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday, March 5, 2016, will feature special guests Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok.

The tour is in support of Megadeth’s new album Dystopia, which drops on Jan. 22, 2016.

The Los Angeles-based band features founder Dave Mustaine on lead vocals and guitar, Kiko Loureiro on guitar, David 'Junior' Ellefson on bass and drummer Chris Adler. All of the musicians are on the new album.

Tickets are $49 and $69 plus fees. They go on sale Friday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m. at www.ValleyFirstTix.com, by phone at 1-877-763-2849 or at the both the Valley First Box Office and Wine Country Visitor Centre.
