RCMP have not been able to identify a man caught on CCTV following a “suspicious occurrence” at the Penticton Community Centre swimming pool in October.
Few details are included in a news release issued today, Dec. 6, other than police are wanting to talk to all people who may have been involved in the incident.
“Despite significant efforts using multiple different police services and agencies, investigators have not yet been able to identify one of the people involved,” Const. Dayne Lyons, Penticton RCMP media relations officer, said in the news release.
“We always aim to conduct a fulsome investigation and hope the community may be able to help us now.”
The man is described as a 35 to 40-year-old Caucasian male with an athletic build, of average height with some facial hair or stubble.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300 and quote file number 2022-17057. Or they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
