PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP are investigating vehicle thefts.

Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says a Ford F350 pickup was stolen from the Golden Sands Resort on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The door lock had been punched and a Black and Decker cutter that was still in the package was taken.

A grey, Dodge Caravan was reported stolen from a home in the 1500 block of Penticton Avenue on Friday, Feb. 24. A set of keys may have been left in the vehicle, which was recovered an hour later on Kilwinning Street. There was no damage, although the vehicle’s contents had been rummaged.

Wrigglesworth says a resident on Old Main Road in Naramata reported the theft of a 2013 Honda Civic, license number DB891G, last night, Feb. 27. A second truck on the property had been entered and rifled, and in the process, a wallet containing identification was taken along with a set of keys to the Civic.

Also last night, Penticton Honda reported a dirt bike stolen sometime over the weekend from the business on Industrial Avenue East. An inoperable red and white Husqvarna bike was taken.
