PENTICTON - Penticton’s loss is Summerland’s gain.
The District of Summerland announced the hiring of former City of Penticton staffer Anthony Haddad as new Chief Administrative Officer.
Haddad takes over the position on Aug. 20, 2019.
Haddad currently works with the City of Penticton as Director of Development Services. He worked as Director of Development Services from 2009 until 2014 when he left the city’s employ, only to return in 2016.
Haddad brings 10 years of senior management experience to the position.
“We are excited and looking forward to having Anthony join the Summerland team,” Summerland Mayor Toni Boot says.
“Council and staff completed a rigorous interview process and are confident Anthony is a good fit for Summerland,” she says.
Haddad grew up in Melbourne, Australia, beginning his municipal career there in 1999. He worked in Fort McMurray and the City of Calgary prior to joining the City of Penticton.
