Peachfest 2017 entertainment line-up revealed

PENTICTON - The Penticton Peach Festival ha announced the line-up for this year’s 70th edition of the annual summer celebration.
The annual summer festival kicks off this year’s free entertainment in Okanagan Lake Park with a performance by iconic Canadian alternative rock band 54-40 on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
Thursday’s performance on Aug. 10 features Canadian rockers Trooper known for their classic hits like Raise a Little Hell, We’re Here for a Good Time, and Two for the Show.
Canadian country music favourite Aaron Pritchett along with special guest Cory Marquardt will perform Friday, Aug 11 with crowd favourites such as Hold my Beer, Big Wheel, and Lucky for Me.
Weekend performances include three tribute band performances by Arrival, playing ABBA favourites, Dreams paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Brent Stewart as Rod Stewart.
The five days of free music wraps up Sunday, Aug. 13 with the legendary Powder Blues Band featuring such hits as Doin’ It Right, Thirsty Ears and Boppin’ with the Blues. Sunday’s performances also include Bobs & Lolo, a Vancouver-based children’s music duo.
This year’s festival runs from Aug. 9 to Aug. 13.
