Three recent Kelowna flights had confirmed COVID-19 cases, according to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control.

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control reports WestJet flight 188 from Kelowna to Calgary on Nov. 19 had a virus exposure affecting rows 14 to 20. On Nov. 24, WestJet Flight 3342 from Calgary to Kelowna also had an exposure affecting rows seven to 13. Then on Nov. 27, Air Canada Jazz flight 8417 had an exposure impacting passengers in rows 8 to 14.

If you are a close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case, Public Health contacts you directly to let you know. In cases where not everyone can be reached, regional health authorities post public exposure information online, according to the BCCDC.

Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.

British Columbians have been advised to minimize travel within the province or outside of the province because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to BCCDC.
