Outstanding NFL display at Kelowna grocery store for Super Bowl

Eric Falkenberg's latest soda box creation at Save-On-Foods on Cooper Road, Kelowna.

The operations manager at a Kelowna grocery story is dazzling shoppers once again with a huge cardboard box display, this time featuring NFL team mascots in conjunction with the Super Bowl game later this month.

The double-sided display at the Save-On-Foods location in Kelowna features eight prominent NFL mascots and is constructed entirely out of empty soda boxes.

The piece is just another addition to operation manager Eric Falkenberg's extensive and epic soda box portfolio.

Falkenberg is a Kelowna resident who has been making box displays since 2016.

His previous designs include a Halloween Batman and Joker display, a Christmas Star Wars scene and a massive 50 foot long, 13 foot tall Coca-Cola semi-truck made from more than 5,000 boxes.

These designs have brought him notoriety not just in Kelowna, but further afield as well.

His past displays have won national competitions and garnered attention from the president of Coca-Cola himself, who is personally fond of Falkenberg's work.
