One dead, 7 injured in crash involving Greyhound bus near Quesnel, B.C.

QUESNEL, B.C. - One person has been killed and seven others injured in a crash involving a Greyhound bus and three other vehicles near Quesnel, British Columbia.

The accident happened late Friday afternoon on Highway 97 about 30 kilometres outside of Quesnel.

BC Emergency Health Services said two of the injured were in critical condition and the other five were listed as stable.

The bus was reportedly on route from Clinton to Prince George when it collided with a car, a pickup truck and a tractor that was towing a piece of farm equipment.

There was no immediate information regarding which vehicles those who were killed and injured were travelling in.

Highway 97 was closed in both directions near Kersely as police continued to investigate the cause of the accident
