No word yet on the cause of a fire that ripped through an Oliver fruit stand late last night.

Oliver fire chief Rob Graham said around 15 firefighters arrived on scene at Main Street and Road One at 11:54 p.m. yesterday, May 6, to find an unused fruit stand in flames.

Heavy smoke and flame were visible upon the fire crews arrival, Graham said, adding the building will likely be a complete loss.

Crews were on scene for about an hour and a half. Power was disrupted in the area for about an hour.

Graham said no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still being determined.
