KELOWNA - Police were on the lookout for an Okanagan woman long before she was reported missing by her family last week.

Rebecka Hill, 24, was reported missing by concerned family members to the Lumby RCMP detachment Jan. 20. They said it was unusual not to hear from her for so long and were worried for her well-being. She had been living in Kelowna at the time.

Police reported Jan. 26 Hill had been in touch with her family, although she still hasn't been located by police.

A description from the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers states she is wanted on a B.C. wide warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, trafficking and breach of undertaking. A warrant for her arrest was first issued in December 2015.

Hill is described as 5’5”, 111 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
