KAMLOOPS - Punk fans rejoice. Sum 41 and Offspring have announced a nation-wide tour - with Kamloops as the last stop.

The two bands will start their cross Canada tour in Nova Scotia on Nov. 12, and then take the stage in 14 Canadian cities. They will be joined by English alt-rock band Dinosaur Pile-Up.

Offspring is a platinum-selling band and is currently creating their tenth studio album, the first to be released in seven years. Sum 41 just released their seventh studio album, titled "Order in Decline," which has seen charting success.

Offspring has been known as one of the top punk bands since their release of their third studio album "Smash" 25 years ago. The album includes hits such as “Self Esteem” and “Killboy Powerhead.”

Sum 41 has released various successful albums, but almost everyone will recognize tracks from albums like "Chuck" and "All Killer No Filler". Some of their well-known tracks include “Pieces,” "Fat Lip" and "The Hell Song."

The Kamloops show is on Dec. 2 at the Sandman Centre. Three other B.C. cities will also be treated to the show, with performances in Penticton, Abbotsford and Cranbrook.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. You can check out the websites for Sum 41 and Offspring for more tour information, as well as a link to buy tickets.
