No Changes to Holiday Garbage and Recycling Collection

FILE PHOTO

With Christmas Day and New Year’s Day falling on a Sunday this year, there is no change to your waste and recycling collection. Regular collection will take place on Boxing Day Monday, December 26th.

Please place your garbage and recycling carts at the curb by 7 a.m. and ensure the lids are completely closed. (For tips on how to place your garbage carts in winter, visit the RDCO You tube channel for a short video or www.regionaldistrict.com/recycle.)

Recycling:
Remember to put all wrapping paper (except foil ), flattened boxes and cartons into your recycling cart for curbside pick- up, or take to your nearest recycling depot. Keep the recycling spirit going by saving all shiny and foil wrapping paper and cards, ribbons and bows for re-use.
