New traffic pattern on Doyle Avenue next Tuesday

KELOWNA - Doyle Avenue between Ellis Street and St. Paul Street will be reduced to one lane of eastbound traffic on Tuesday March 24, from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Doyle Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic, except for transit. Construction crews will be pouring concrete as part of the Interior Health building project.

Detours for westbound traffic are available via Cawston Avenue or Bernard Avenue.

A reminder that Ellis Street is closed to through traffic between Doyle Avenue and the north side of the Library Parkade (mid-block from Cawston Avenue) until April 10 for underground utility upgrades. Parking for businesses and services north of the Library Parkade can be accessed from Cawston Avenue during the road closure. Two-hour parking is also available on St. Paul Street.

Visit www.kelowna.ca/mydowntown for parking, road closures and project information in the downtown.

The City of Kelowna thanks residents, businesses and commuters for their patience.
