What's new on Netflix Canada, CraveTV in December

A monthly look at what's scheduled to be added to the catalogues of streaming services Netflix Canada and CraveTV:


Netflix has a slew of new original series, movies and specials this month, including Guillermo del Toro's animated show "Trollhunters," the Barack Obama biopic "Barry" and "White Rabbit Project," which is created by some of the talent from "MythBusters."

CraveTV is continuing to stream weekly episodes of the third season of "The Affair," will be adding both seasons of HBO's gritty drama "True Detective," and has a variety of Christmas specials to stream, ranging from the classic "A Christmas Carol" to "Christmastime In South Park" and "Michael Buble's 3rd Annual Christmas Special."
