New music festival set for Kamloops this summer

A brand new music festival is coming to Kamloops this summer.

The Harper Mountain Music Festival will kick-off at noon on Aug. 22 at Harper Mountain near Kamloops, featuring music, local breweries, good eats and kid friendly activities.

Five Alarm Funk, Devon Coyote, Sparrow Blue, The County Line, Henry Small, Sparrow Blue, Redwoods, Lindsay May and more are scheduled to perform.

All proceeds from the Harper Mountain Music Festival will be donated to KidSport, the Kamloops Food Bank, the Kamloops Bike Riders Association and People In Motion.

Early Bird adult tickets are $49, youth passes (ages 12-15) are $27.50, and group of four passes are $149.

A shuttle service will be provided for those indulging in the local craft beer.
