A new community collection centre is being established in Penticton to facilitate COVID-19 testing capacity.
Interior Health said in a media release it is moving it’s COVID-19 test collection services to a dedicated centre located at 140-3547 Skaha Lake Rd., effective today, Dec. 21.
The centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week. The facility contains more parking spaces which will allow Interior Health to increase the daily number of tests being conducted.
More information about the community collection centre can be found at Interior Health’s testing information page.
Testing is available for those experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, and those who have been sent for testing by a physician, nurse practitioner or public health official.
Tests can be booked online, or by phone at 1-877-740-7747.
