Mostly sunny but cold for Kamloops this week

The cold temperatures will continue through this week for Kamloops, under mostly sunny skies.

PENTICTON - Below seasonal temperatures are expected to dominate the weather pattern over Kamloops for the next week, but no major weather systems are forecast for the city.

Today in Kamloops, Environment Canada says to expect a mix of sun and cloud for the day before becoming mostly cloudy overnight with a high of -3 Celsius and a low of -12 C.

Wind chills are expected to range between -23 C and -10 C.

Tuesday will be much the same with a high of - 3 C and a low of -15 C under a mix of sun and cloud and wind chills ranging from -23 C to - 8 C.

Wednesday, more clouds move in with a high of -4 C and a low of -11 C

Thursday will be a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 1 C and a low of -7 C.

Friday’s weather will be similar, with mostly sunny skies, a high of 1 C and a low of -11 C.

The beginning of March will see temperatures climb above zero, but not by much, with Saturday and Sunday reaching 1 C under sunny skies.

The normal daily maximum and minimum for Kamloops is 7 C and - 3 C.
