More than 800,000 twinkling lights at this year's Kamloops Wildlights Festival

The 22nd annual Wildlights display at the B.C. Wildlife Park in Kamloops kicks off, Friday, Dec. 13, 2019. This year, park staff have added a 250-foot tunnel filled with more than 25,000 lights.

The 22nd annual Wildlights Festival at the B.C. Wildlife Park in Kamloops kicks off tomorrow and runs until the new year.

This year features more than 800,000 lights and includes a new 250-foot tunnel of lights containing 25,000 lights.

The annual winter celebration at the wildlife park will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with various events including face painting, scavenger hunts, contests, opportunities to feed animals or take a ride on the Wildlife Express miniature train.

The festival starts tomorrow, Dec. 13, and runs until Jan. 5.

The park will be closed on Christmas Day.
