More showers forecast for Kamloops this weekend

Beach weather is in the forecast today and tomorrow in Kamloops, but the weekend is expected to bring more sun than clouds and a possiblility of showers.

KAMLOOPS - There’s more sunshine in the Kamloops forecast over the next few days, but unfortunately not over the weekend.

Summer weather is back today and tomorrow, but clouds and the possibility of showers return for the weekend.

Next week should start with a sun and cloud mix.

Today, Environment Canada says to expect sunny skies with southwest winds at 20 km/h late this afternoon and a high of 29 Celsius.

It should drop to a low of 15 C tonight, followed by sunny skies Friday and a high of 30 C, with an overnight low of 15 C.

Saturday should get a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 29 C.

Clouds and a 30 per cent chance of showers continues overnight with a low of 16 C.

Sunday is expected to be mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C.

Monday and Tuesday should see a sun-cloud mix with temperatures of 26 C and 27 C respectively.

It’s normally 28 C for a high and 14 C for a low in Kamloops this time of year.
