KAMLOOPS - Expect delays on the Trans-Canada Highway this spring as crews resurface a stretch of highway near Chase..
A 14-kilometre stretch from the Chase Creek Bridge to Cruikshank Point will be resurfaced using hot-in-place recycling, which considered is more environmentally friendly than conventional asphalt replacement.
A $3.3-million contract for the construction has been awarded and work is expected to start in the spring and wrap up by the end of June.
Drivers will have to contend with single lane traffic during the process.
A second project is also slated for the same time on an 18-km stretch of Squilax-Anglemont Road, ending at Scotch Creek Provincial Park.
