WEST KELOWNA - As if you need another reason to yearn for summer, how about listening to the music of the Beatles live, outdoors at one of B.C.'s best and most beautiful wineries?

Mission Hill Family Estate winery has announced the line-up of summer shows at the gorgeous 1,000-seat outdoor amphitheatre at 1730 Mission Hill Road and proving they can still bring big names to the Hill.

Rain, a Beatles musical tribute show, has made fans around the world for its note-for-note recreation of the Fab Four's songs. They'll be performing at the amphitheatre on Jun. 16 as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road.

David Foster, a legendary Canadian composer and producer who's worked with Donna Summer, Rod Stewart, and many more will bring his "Hitman" tour to the amphitheatre on July 9 in a privilege member exclusive.

Michael McDonald, an iconic artist who's played with Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers, rounds out the concert series with a solo performance on July 21.

The Mission Hill Family Estate often hosts concerts at the amphitheatre in the summer. Sheryl Crow headlined a concert last year and Michael Bolton made appearances in 2017 and 2016.

Tickets for the Rain and McDonald shows will go on sale Mar. 14 at 10 a.m. for the general public. They can be found at the Mission Hill website.
