Over 50 years since they originally formed members of British prog-rock band Jethro Tull are set to take to the stage in Vernon.

Martin Barre Performs Classic Jethro Tull takes place at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre April. 27, and well as giving the audience over 50 years worth of songs, they'll be a meet and greet with members of the band after the show.

Martin Barre Performs Classic Jethro Tull, features two original band members Dee Palmer and Clive Bunker, although original band leader Ian Anderson will not be with them. However, while not an original member of the band, Barre joined in 1969 and stayed with the group to 2012.

With over 65 million record sales since the band began in 1967, Jethro Tull has released over 20 studio albums over the last five decades, with 11 gold and five platinum albums among them.

Organizers are dubbing the show the "tour of tours" celebrating the history of Jethro Tull.

Martin Barre Performs Classic Jethro Tull at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, 7:30 p.m. April. 27. Tickets cost $59.
