Most actively traded companies on the TSX

TORONTO - Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,537.62, down 75.70 points):

Duluth Metals Ltd. (TSX:DM). Miner. Up 34 cents, or 485.71 per cent, to 41 cents on 11.2 million shares. A subsidiary of Chilean-based Antofagasta PLC announced it has offered 45 cents per share for all of the outstanding shares of Duluth. It also said it had an agreement to buy more than five million commons shares of the company from Wallbridge Mining Co. Ltd. (TSX:WM) for 45 cents a share, raising its stake in Duluth to more than 14 per cent.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down two cents, or 1.06 per cent, to $1.86 on 4.9 million shares.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Down $1.05, or 2.67 per cent, to $38.28 on 4.8 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Up six cents, or 1.62 per cent, to $3.77 on 4.6 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down $1.45, or 3.62 per cent, to $38.57 on 4 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up six cents, or 1.34 per cent, to $4.55 on 3.8 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Second Cup Ltd. (TSX:SCU). Restaurants. Down 20 cents, or 6.45 per cent, to $2.90 on 21,092 shares. The embattled specialty coffee company had a $26.2-million loss in the third quarter asit booked provisions for cafe closures and the impairment of its asset values.The loss amounted to $2.65 per share, mostly due to a $25.7-million item that reflects the reduced value of Second Cup's trademarks.
