VERNON – A month long investigation ended with an RCMP emergency response team raiding a suspected grow operation in the Falkland area.
The heavily armed officers executed a search warrant Thursday, Feb. 26 once it was determined there wasn’t a medicinal marijuana license associated with the property, North Okanagan RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says in a media release.
Police searched numerous buildings including a large metal building where they found a grow op.
Two men, both from Nelson, and two women from the Lower Mainland were arrested and over 700 pot plants were seized.
There is no word on what charges the suspects face.
