MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. - Homicide investigators have taken over the case after a man was found dead in a Maple Ridge home, east of Vancouver.

Integrated Homicide Investigation Team Sgt. Jennifer Pound confirms the body of the 58-year-old man has been recovered.

She says an autopsy will be needed to confirm how he died, and more information could be released today.

Police have not indicated who called them to the home in the 11000 block of Carshill Street or exactly when the body was discovered.

Pound says no arrests have been made.
