Man accused of fatally stabbing man, injuring 3 others, at Kamloops house party has court date

The Kamloops man who is accused of stabbing four people at a house party will be in court next month to face murder and attempted murder charges.

Michael Wayne Palmer, 44, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder following a stabbing rampage at a house party on Carson Crescent in Kamloops on March 28

A 59-year-old man was killed during the incident, while a 62-year-old and a 58-year-old were critically injured. A 21-year-old man was also stabbed but sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police said all of the men knew each other.

Palmer will remain in custody until his scheduled hearing May 6 at the Kamloops court house.
