Highway 1 is closed in both directions this afternoon between Kamloops and Salmon Arm to a major vehicle crash.
The collision happened on the Trans-Canada Highway between Shuswap Avenue and the Highway 1 Frontage Road near Chase, according to DriveBC. A detour is available via Highways 97 and 97B.
Emergency crews are on the scene.
Details are scarce, but there are reports a commercial transport truck was involved.
Chase RCMP were unable to provide any information at this time.
