MONTREAL - Jurors at Luka Rocco Magnotta's murder trial have viewed more disturbing unedited photos and footage used to make the so-called video of the dismemberment and desecration of Jun Lin in May 2012.
A Montreal police computer crimes detective extracted the images and video from a memory card contained in a camera discarded in the trash behind Magnotta's Montreal's apartment.
The video shows Lin is already dead when the video camera is turned on.
The disturbing images viewed by the jury today include one video where Magnotta masturbates. He uses Lin's severed arm.
Magnotta has admitted the physical acts of which he's accused but has pleaded not guilty by way of mental disorder.
He faces four charges in addition to premeditated murder: criminally harassing Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other members of Parliament; mailing obscene and indecent material; committing an indignity to a body; and publishing obscene materials.
