PENTICTON - A group of unlikely television celebrities are set to return to Penticton this summer.

The West Coast Lumberjacks will bring their show to Okanagan Lake Park during the Penticton Peach Festival Aug. 5 to 8. The group have recently become television celebrities, appearing on Bachelor Canada, the Amazing Race and Canada’s Got Talent.

The West Coast Lumberjacks last appeared at Peachfest in 2012, attracting large crowds in what Peach Festival Entertainment Director Bill Kolter called, "A fantastic family show."

The lumberjacks perform chainsaw carving, axe throwing, tree climbing, standing block chop, log rolling and springboard chop. The loggers have made appearances at the Pacific National Exhibition and the Canadian National Exhibition, as well as at other high profile events throughout North America.

The 2015 Peachfest is scheduled Aug. 5 to 9. There is no admission charge for the West Coast Lumberjacks shows.
