SUN PEAKS - From hip-hop artists to DJs, big name acts are sticking their landings at Sun Peaks Resort for the Coors Light Snowbombing Canada music festival.

The Kamloops-area ski resort announced today, Oct. 28, in a media release that rap heavy-hitter Ludacris and internationally renowned DJ Kaskade will headline the festival.

Snowbombing Canada will be the North American debut of the European music festival. The multi-day, snow sport-centred music festival is scheduled for April 6 to April 10, 2017 at Sun Peaks Resort.

The festival has been going strong since 1999 and is wildly popular in Europe, according to the Snowbombing website.

Attendees can take part in chairlift speed dating, snow yoga, a fancy dress street party, according to the release.

General tickets go on sale Nov. 1 and early bird tickets are offered on Oct. 31 for those who sign up at the Snowbombing website.
