A Lotto 6/49 lottery player who purchased a ticket in West Vancouver will have lots to celebrate in the new year.

The ticket in the Dec. 30 draw is worth $9,342,568.90.

It was the only Lotto 6/49 ticket sold across Canada to match all six numbers drawn, which were 7,14,30,32,38 and 45, according to a B.C. Lottery Corporation media release.

The odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot are 1 in 13,983,816.

Prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date to come forward and claim their prize.

The lottery corporation will announce the winner’s name and exact location of where the ticket was purchased once the winner has come forward.

More than 105 million in lottery prizes were paid out in winnings from Lotto 6/49 in British Columbia this year, BCLC said.
