VERNON - Lucy came to the Vernon Shelter with a serious wound on her leg, but now that it is healed she is ready to find her forever home.
The Vernon SPCA lists Lucy as a hidden gem looking forward to finding herself a new home to call her own.
In the past, Lucy has lived with other cats and smaller dogs before as a result, the SPCA says she wouldn't mind having another small animal in the home.
Lucy likes to play on a scratch post. Lounging in the sun is another one of her favourite activities.
Lucy is classified as special needs because she requires a special diet and will need someone who can provide periodic vet care when her skin condition flares up.
The SPCA is encouraging people to consider adopting Lucy because she will reward her new guardians with a lifetime of love and kitty snuggles.
If you think you'd like to add Lucy to your home or if you are interested in meeting her, please contact or stop by the Vernon SPCA. Visit the website for more information about Lucy or the Shelter.
