PENTICTON - This American Eskimo has never lived in a home or been with cats or children.

Audrey is a timid dog according to a Penticton SPCA media release.

The SPCA says she will need a confident owner to help her with behaviour modification.

Audrey is not yet able to walk on a leash and she only allows certain people to pet her.

She is easily startled and so will need a calm, quiet home with a patient and dog-savvy person.

Audrey is playful around toys and familiar dogs. She is observant, curious, sweet, submissive and will eat out of your hand.

Due to Audrey's fearfulness she will only be viewable by qualified adopters at this time. Applications can be sent to penticton@spca.bc.ca.

For more information about Audrey contact the staff at the Penticton SPCA. Her animal ID number is 453004.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
