KAMLOOPS - Willis is a young at heart, enthusiastic and loving dog that is looking for his forever home.

Willis, animal identification number 439188, loves people, according to the Kamloops SPCA pet profile. He is a very social, fun and loving dog. whoThe staff says he is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm.

He may need to join a family without really young children who could be too rough with him, however, Willis is a sweetheart of a boy who is affectionate and very well behaved. He'd love a special somebody, especially if they offer lots of belly scratches.

Willis loves going for walks, being the centre of attention and to cuddle with people. He seems to be house trained and has nice manners when riding in a vehicle.

With a slow introduction, Willis could be part of a multi-pet home. He is pretty relaxed and shows a healthy respect for cats. As long as other dogs are not too overwhelming or exuberant for him, he likes their company.

Willis arrived at the Kamloops SPCA under sad circumstances when his owner had passed away, according to the Kamloops SPCA pet profile. The next of kin took Willis but found that he wasn't fitting into their lifestyle.

Willis is a large, approximately eight and a half years old, Rottweiler/Doberman cross. Because he's an older dog the SPCA took him to see a veterinarian and x-rays showed he does have arthritis. This will require daily pain management medication, however, this good looking boy is young at heart and has a lot of love to give.

Visit the Kamloops Branch website for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation. If you would like to know more about Willis or think he's a good match for your home please speak with shelter staff about our adoption process.
