KAMLOOPS - Kayla and her sister Cookie are looking for a new home.

They are very bonded to each other so they must be adopted together.

Kayla is a very easy going and gentle dog. She loves going for walks and could spend all day sniffing around the backyard. Cookie is a very outgoing and gentle dog. She's always ready for good cuddle session and she got her name for a reason, she loves her cookies!

Both Cookie and Kayla have very good car manners and are ready to go on any adventure. Don't let their ages fool you! These girls are still very much loving life.

Senior animals are the most overlooked in animals shelter. People often want to adopt puppies or kittens.

Cookie and Kayla are currently in a foster home where they are living peacefully with other dogs and cats.

Some reasons to open your heart and home to a senior dog from SPCA staff:

1. Older dogs have manners.
2. Senior pets are less destructive.
3. Older pets are more relaxed.
4. Adopted senior pets are grateful for your kindness.

So if you think you have a good home for these girls to retire in for their golden years please speak with shelter staff.

Cookie's Animal ID is 428755.
Kayla's Animal ID is 428756.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
