Drivers can expect delays downtown Kamloops this afternoon after a logging truck hit an infamous overpass on 1 Avenue.
Kamloops Mayor Ken Christian tweeted a photo of the accident shortly after 1 p.m. today, Sept. 24.
The photo shows a truck carrying logs apparently stuck under the overpass after striking it.

"Avoid 1st Avenue," Mayor Christian said in the tweet.
Kamloops Fire Rescue could not be immediately reached for comment.
