KAMLOOPS - A local music collective is offering a three-week summer music camp for Kamloops kids.
The Kamloops Music Collective is once again accepting registration to the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music, a School District 73 media release says. Early bird registration ends Sunday, March 31.
The program runs from July 8 to July 26 and offers about 50 classes and activities. There will be chances for kids age five to 18 to perform in front of a live audience.
"It is an intensive music experience for kids,” Kim Mangan with the music collective says in the release. “But when kids come to KISSM they find more than music. They make friends, they are finding mentorship, and they are finding new direction for their lives.”
