Should a $40.6 million water treatment plant be built next year or in 2021? Should all water systems in the District of West Kelowna be combined into one?
Those are the questions being asked as the District of West Kelowna takes the Water Utilities Master Plan to the community for one last round of online feedback. Residents can go to www.districtofwestkelowna.ca under Events and Meetings to complete the Water Master Plan and Water Rates Survey before June 8, 2014. The survey will provide a list of all upgrades recommended over the next 20 or more years and outline the rate increases required to pay for the improvements.
Council will look over the results before considering final adoption of the plan in the coming weeks.
